Tablighi Jamaat Markaz

A Markaz is a masjid where the Tablighi Jamaat’s Weekly “Shab-e-Jumma” or “Markaz night” program is held. This program can be a Thursday night, Friday night or Saturday night depending on the convenience of the public. Tablighi Jamaat Markaz’s exist all over the world.

The ‘Shab-e-Jumma’ / Markaz Night Program

The Shab-e-Jumma or Markaz Night program is a weekly gathering held on either Thursday, Friday, or Saturdays. It generally starts between Asr and Isha Salat, though the time varies depending on the country, season, and collective decision made through Mashwara (consultation among members). The program typically includes the following components:

  • Taleem
This is a book reading session from approved books such as Fadhail Amaal and Riyaadhus Saliheen. It serves as a prelude to the Bayaan for brothers who arrive early.
  • Bayan
This is a general talk focused on the six points of Tabligh and is the longest component of the program. It is typically given by visiting Jamaats, local active brothers, or distinguished scholars.
  • Tashkeel
Immediately following the Bayaan, this segment encourages brothers listening to make a pledge of intention to go out in Jamaat. Names of volunteers are recorded for light follow-up in the future.
  • Hayatus Sahaba
This is a short recitation from the Arabic book ‘Hayatus Sahaba‘ to encourage brothers to follow the footsteps of the Sahaba. It is read by either an Aalim or a native Arab Speaker who has spent 4 months in Jamaat
  • Food / Refreshment
A short recitation from the Arabic book ‘Hayatus Sahaba’ aims to inspire brothers to follow the footsteps of the Sahaba. It is read by either an Aalim or a native Arabic speaker who has spent a least four months in Jamaat.

The case of Nizamuddin Markaz, Delhi, India

The Nizamuddin (Delhi) Markaz used to be the main center for Tablighi Jamaat in India until the unfortunate violent attack that occurred on the 13th night of Ramadan in 2016.

Since then, the Markaz has been taken over by the offending group, which is no longer associated with Tablighi Jamaat.

  1. How all these Ijtemas and Daily Markaz funded?
In Raiwind, there 15000 daily and Nizamuddin 3000 daily. Meat every meal. If USD $2 food daily, that’s $30000 expenses daily in Raiwind. In one year, that’s USD $10 Million per year.

In Nizamuddin, that would be $6000 daily and USD $2 Million per year. No money collected, nobody ask donation

Before I use ask to TJ brothers they say ‘Allah provides the food’, but now split Nizamuddin Raiwind.

Your website you say bad things about Nizamuddin, so this money came from Allah for Bad place?
