I hope you are in good health and high spirits.
By the grace of Allah, I too am well and in good health.
I have received your esteemed letter along with the attached draft. I have studied both.
As for the current situation of the Tablighi Jamaat, your concern is indeed justified and your sentiments are worthy of appreciation and deserve serious consideration. However, this fact is also not hidden from your noble self that the faction of the Tablighi Jamaat associated with Bangla Wali Masjid is not only strictly adherent to the thoughts and ideologies of a single individual, but also promotes and propagates them.
It is no longer a hidden matter that the respected Ameer (leader) interprets Quranic verses, Hadiths, and the life of the Companions (Sahaba) according to his own particular perspective—one that includes intellectual deviations bordering on distortion.
Despite every possible effort and clarification from Darul Uloom, there has been no change in his attitude, and such types of statements continue to be received.
Darul Uloom’s primary disagreement with them is precisely on this issue. In such circumstances, attaching any written statement from me with your letter would be a deviation from the actual issue at hand; therefore, I respectfully apologize.
May Allah Almighty grant success to your efforts and create an acceptable resolution to this matter.
