In the name of Allah, the Most High
Today, on July 28, 2018, important officials of the old government of Bangladesh’s Dawah gathered under the supervision of the country’s respected scholars. There was a gathering of approximately hundreds of thousands. The following matters were agreed upon by mutual consent:
- The majority of scholars agree that following Maulana Saad Sahib is not permissible due to the following reasons: a. Arbitrary interpretation of the Quran and Hadith. b. Belittling and disparaging other branches of religion while emphasizing the importance of Dawah work. c. Disagreement with the approach of former Tabligh leaders, Hazrat Maulana Ilyas Sahib, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Yusuf, and Maulana Inamul Hasan Sahib.
- Ignoring the Shura system given by Maulana Inamul Hasan Sahib, he has claimed his own leadership, which is entirely against Sharia. Therefore, any of his decisions or any arrangements he suggests cannot be implemented in Kakrail or the entire country.
- Darul Uloom Deoband has expressed concern that Maulana Saad Sahib is deviating from the Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat’s creed and approach, and is trying to create a new sect. In these circumstances, it is not appropriate for any group from Bangladesh to send a group to Banglewali Masjid, Nizamuddin, or for anyone to go individually. Nor will any group sent from Nizamuddin be given direction from Kakrail, nor will any direction be allowed to work.
- The work of Dawah and Tabligh has spread and become popular throughout the world following the approach established by the three elders of this effort: Hazrat Maulana Ilyas Sahib, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Yusuf, and Maulana Inamul Hasan Sahib. Therefore, this effort will continue in the same manner under the supervision and guidance of the scholars of Deoband. No new arrangement will be acceptable. Kakrail, Tongi, and other centers will have to work in the same manner.
- Those members of the Kakrail Shura who support Maulana Saad Sahib and endorse his wrong ideas are not eligible to remain in the Shura. Therefore, it is strictly instructed that they will neither remain in the Shura nor be decision-makers.
- The dates for the upcoming global gathering, which have been decided in consultation with the government, are as follows: First gathering: January 18, 19, and 20, 2019. Second gathering: January 25, 26, and 27, 2019.
This gathering requests the government officials to assist us in implementing the above-mentioned matters and in eliminating possible discord among the people of Dawah due to these decisions.
