Dates of the Tongi Ijtema 2027 and the Old Workers' Jor
These dates were decided through the mashwara of the Alami Shura, and the Government of Bangladesh has agreed to them.
- Old Workers' Jor: 4 to 8 December 2026
- Tongi Ijtema, First Phase: 8 to 10 January 2027
- Tongi Ijtema, Second Phase: 15 to 17 January 2027

Invitation to the Bangladesh Ijtema and Dates of the Upcoming Ijtema
First Phase: 8 to 10 January 2027 and Second Phase: 15 to 17 January 2027
Respected and Honoured Shura Associates, Responsible Brothers, and Brothers Residing Abroad, from All Countries,
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. We hope that, by the mercy and grace of Allah Ta'ala, you are all well and engaged in the blessed effort of Deen.
Allah Ta'ala has carried out the work of inviting people towards Deen through the Prophets and Messengers throughout the ages. Since we are the Ummah of the final Prophet, Rasulullah (PBUH), and no Prophet will come after his demise, Allah Ta'ala has entrusted this Ummah with the responsibility of conveying the message of Deen and honoured it as the "Best Ummah."
The Sahabah (RA), realizing the responsibility of this work, established Salah with the light of Iman and travelled throughout the world for the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala, with the Akhlaq of the Prophets, strengthened by Ilm and Zikr.
Continuing this blessed effort, it is essential that every person engaged in this work makes sincere and tireless efforts to establish the arrangement of annual, monthly and daily Khurooj for the brothers involved in the work, while also striving to revive the local work in every Masjid.
Alhamdulillah, as part of this blessed effort, the Government has also agreed to the dates for the upcoming Tongi Ijtema and the Old Workers' Jor that were decided through the mashwara of the Alami Shura. According to the Mashwara, the Ijtema and the Old Workers' Jor will be held in two phases:
- Old Workers' Jor: 4 to 8 December 2026
- First Phase of Tongi Ijtema: 8 to 10 January 2027
- Second Phase of Tongi Ijtema: 15 to 17 January 2027
As per the previous decision, Insha'Allah, the respected elders of the Alami Shura of the three countries (Shura-e-Nizam), along with Ulama-e-Kiram from around the world and all the brothers, will participate in the said Ijtema and Jor. During the Ijtema and Jor, Umur from different countries will also be taken, Insha'Allah.
Therefore, from now on, efforts should be made to send Chilla/Three-Chilla Jamaats from your respective countries in large numbers, so that you may participate in the preparatory efforts leading up to the Old Workers' Jor and Tongi Ijtema. At the very least, it would be highly beneficial to participate in the Ijtema and make arrangements to go out in the path of Allah for Chilla/Three Chilla.
