Support for the stance of Darul Uloom Deoband
We praise Him and send blessings upon His noble Messenger. Thereafter:
We fully support, word for word, the stance expressed by Darul Uloom Deoband regarding the thoughts and views of Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Saad Sahib Kandhlawi. We request the general Muslim public to refrain from statements and meetings that contradict what the scholars and muftis of Darul Uloom Deoband have criticized. We should strive to fulfill the responsibility of this noble work of Dawah and Tabligh, keeping it free from all kinds of extremism and negligence, according to the guiding principles laid down by Hazrat Maulana Shah Muhammad Ilyas Sahib, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Yusuf Sahib, and Hazrat Maulana Inamul Hasan Sahib.
It should be clear that this stance of Darul Uloom Deoband is not against dawah and tabligh, but rather Darul Uloom Deoband has drawn the attention of moderate-minded and serious important officials associated with dawah and tabligh to strive to keep this group established by the elders on the path and approach of the majority of the ummah and the previous senior responsible figures. Therefore, we will strive to keep this noble work of dawah and tabligh on the path of the elders. InshaAllah, please review the attached letter for details.
