Question: In Tabligh, there is a global Shura where people become judges in rotation. Is this an un-Islamic practice?
Answer: Any group has the right to make decisions about leadership and governance through mutual consultation and agreement. Whatever permissible decision is made by its administration regarding this is actionable and enforceable, whether it is decided that one person will be their permanent leader or that leadership will be rotated among individuals. There is no religious objection to this. And Allah knows best.
