I have heard this my self many times and was very disturbed , Brother who are in Tableegh have to be made aware not to just repeat without examining or checking the evidences from senior ulema. This is even without mentioning about what happened after Fath Makkah about the Sahabi(RA)

This is a well known fabricated / extremely weak narration about Abd Allah ibn Sa’d. This is one of the problems with M Saad. He likes to use extremely week / Fabricated narrations just to attract the audience. He uses the Seerah (which are mostly weak in transmission chain) and make his own fatwas from it. This has been heavily criticized by Darul Uloom Deoband (See Deoband’s 2023 Fatwa).

To make matters even worse, this particular story is often quoted by Anti Muslims to show how a supposedly Sahabi questioned the authenticity of the Prophet SAW. Why even quote and give this story any legitimacy? Great scholars like Imam Shafii and Hanbali have rejected the narration.

M Saad is not a Maulana, he never graduated as testified by the Shura of Nizamuddin Madrasah himself (link here)

I keep hearing the following speech by a few brothers – which has been oft repeated in speeches by an individual about a Sahabi – Abdullah ibn Sa‘d ibn Abi Sarh(RA) I was unable to get any references , but brothers seem to just keep repeating without know the reference or the background .

Aalami shura is following hazratji moulana inaam ul hasan sab rh, period.
If you want to follow hazratji inaam rh then be with shura or, if you don’t want to listen to ameer sab then don’t be with shura and follow so called M Saad db who is hell bent for being ameer with precaution.
It’s not like that we can not be with them but as said if they’re in accordance with old way, then no problem. Even we can assist them but cautiously.
Actual/original tablighi jamaat is shura functioning from demise of hazratji rh since from past 30 years to date, including 20 years in markaz hazrat nizamuddin. It’s that simple.

There are many letters from our elders who is the source of truth in this matter. Both sides agree on their credibility.
