First of all, it lacks consistencies with the many evidences that clearly shows Muawiya RA was a Muslim:

• He accepted islam
• He led prayers/was an Imam
• He did Hajj multiple times
• He narrated authentic hadiths
• He was a scribe of Rasulullah SAW (writing Wahi/Quran)
• Rasulullah SAW himself made Dua for him and prophesized his leadership
• and MOST of all, he participated and went through many difficult Jihad/expeditions. A Munafiq will never walk for miles in the hot sun and risk their lives going out in the Path of Allah
